Evaluate grip position, spout orientation and pouch stiffness with the intended user and fill weight. Include the first pour and near-empty handling. Record spills, drips and awkward folding so the choice of base, panel dimensions and fitment follows real use.

Provide the line model, spout presentation, fill method and cap torque controls. Use the proposed fitment and production-equivalent pouch for trials. Check seating, welding interface, cap engagement and filled handling before approving a design based on a hand-filled sample.

Ask for the exact film and fitment combination with its barrier data and process limits. Compare it against the formulation and storage target through product trials. Recycling-oriented design and barrier performance must be evaluated together; neither follows automatically from the stand-up spouted format.
