Roll End Tuck Top (RETT)

Check that the rolled end walls seat neatly and that the tuck-top closes without bowing the lid. Use the final product and insert during the trial; side-wall buildup can reduce the room available compared with a simple rectangular outer measurement.

The insert should follow the usable interior after the end walls are fully assembled. Request a structural sample before finalizing insert corners or finger recesses. A flat insert drawn to the outside footprint may bind against the rolled walls or prevent square erection.

It can interfere if the packed item or tissue occupies its insertion path. Show product height and the preferred opening orientation in the packing layout. Check closure on a filled sample and adjust clearance or restraint before selecting decorative finishes.

Review the roll-end panels and their hidden faces on a folded proof, not just the top cover. Identify which edges remain visible when closed and which face inward. Keep important copy outside locking areas where folds or tabs may conceal it.
